Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain of the US women's Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. the Final Five. In 2012 Raisman was awarded gold in the team competitions along with the floor workouts. In the balance beam, Raisman received a bronze. This made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. She took gold for team at the 2016 Olympics that also made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to earn back-toback gold medals. Also, she took home silver medals in individual all-around as well as the floor exercise. Between her two Olympics, she was off. The gold medal she won for the American team also took home 2 World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her most favorite sport is exercises on the floor. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. The future is bright for her as she intends to pursue a career by avoiding fashion. Also, she would like to broaden her leotards and sock collection. Fierce is a novel she is working on will come out later this year.
